Will a failed (due to cash advance limit on my card) attempt at wiring money affect my credit?

I'm not over my credit limit, I have quite a bit of available credit actually, but the cash advance limit on my card had been lowered without my knowledge when I tried to complete the wire transfer. Is this going to ***** up my credit rating? I simply called Western Union, tried to wire a couple hundred bucks, and was told the charges wouldn't go through. Are there any negative consequences to this?
Not as long as the wire did not go through. If the wire went through then it may cause you to over your limit and even then the credit card company only charges you a fee. They will not put it on your credit unless you dont pay the card all together.
