YES…it counts as a cash advance. There are 4 categories to credit A)ATM/ Cash Advances B) Balance Transfers C) Purchases and D) Other. Credit Card companies consider money used at a casin as a cash advance – category A. Category A usually has the highest rate…anywhere between 9.99% and 32.34%. ALSO, it will be the LAST thing that you pay off….meaning that when you send in payments, they are paying off all other categories first, so that the bank will collect outsanding amounts of interest on that purchase lingering in Category A. Sooo, unless you plan to pay your balance in full each month, I wouldn't recommend using a credit card for a cash advance or ATM withdraway. And one more thing…there is usally a fee involved, that will be charged for every time you use your card at a casino or ATM
You can not use a credit card in a USA casino for gambling. You have to get a cash advance and then convert the cash into chips or slot play.
