Not sure how that would work on-line (I have a US Bank credit card, but not checking account). But you could always go to a branch, do the cash advance, and deposit that to your checking account. But it would cost you a cash advance fee, and interest at your cash advance interest rate would start immediately.
So it is not something you should do unless you have to, but I guess it is better than a payday loan.
